Initial Consult

In our first meeting or phone call, we will discuss your project needs, desires and the functionality for your spaces. We will work together to tackle your project and alleviate concerns about the process. This is the time to get excited about what’s to come!

Development

Now we will develop a floorplan, discuss exsisting furniture or accessory incorporations and perhaps some initial selections. We will work together to develop your wish-list into a cohesive plan.

Budget

We will discuss your budgetary needs and an estimate of costs for the project. High-end or budget-friendly designs all begin the same, planning and dressing a home to reflect function, form and balance with just the right hint of fabulous.

Selections

Presentation of furniture, appliances, fixtures, hardware, textiles, flooring , accessories and various other options depending on the scope of your project will be presented for your approval.

Shopping

I can provide expert opinions while accompanying the shopping or online sourcing of items necessary for your project. I am also able to shop for all your items with your budget and plan in mind. For many of my clients, this alleviates the stress during the very busy decision-making process.

Reselection & Finalizing

Once shopping has completed, it will be time to approve any remaining items in our plan and pre-ordering process. We will then finalize all selections and sign off on final approvals.

Ordering Process

You will provide deposits, if necessary, and I will place your order. Alternatively, many clients prefer to provide payment directly through a provided credit card and have me take lead on all orders, once final approval has been made.

Delivery & Installation (aka The Fun Part)

I will oversee all deliveries, placement and installation of orders for your home. This is a great time to sit back, relax and enjoy your vision becoming a reality.

Planning

If your project requires architectural drawings, we will review your blueprints, drawings and elevations. In a remodel, we will develop a floorplan, discuss exsisting furniture or accessory incorporations and perhaps some initial selections. We will work together to develop your wish-list into a cohesive plan.

Selections

All finishing materials and deliverables that involve design participation on your project will be presented at this time. This can include countertops, sinks, plumbing fixtures, hardware, carpet and other floor coverings, lighting fixtures, doors, windows, millwork, appliances, wall & ceiling surfaces, exterior selections and more.

Timelines

We will work together to coordinate a selections timeline and your construction timeline. Shopping can be discussed at this time, if desired for the project.
